These Terms of Use govern your use of the Dawnstar Trading software and this website, provided by Dawnstar Development & Publishing (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the software, you agree to them and to the Risk & Disclosures.
The software is provided under its accompanying open-source license (see the LICENSE file distributed with it). Subject to that license, you may use, run, and modify it. The Dawnstar name, logo, and branding remain ours.
You agree to use the software lawfully, in compliance with all applicable laws, tax obligations, and the terms of service of every broker and data provider you connect. You are responsible for securing your master password and broker API keys; a lost master password is unrecoverable by design.
You understand that trading involves substantial risk of loss, that no edge is demonstrated, and that you are solely responsible for every order the software places on your behalf and for the decision to trade at all. You accept the full Risk & Disclosures.
The software and site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software is error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your requirements or produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dawnstar Development & Publishing will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits, missed or erroneous trades, downtime, or data loss, arising from your use of the software or site.
We never hold, receive, move, or have access to your funds. Your accounts and money remain entirely with the regulated brokers you connect.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dawnstar Development & Publishing is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
